Book Review : Wonder 

This was certainly one of the best books I have ever read! The ''Wonder'' of R.J.Palacio tells the story of a boy named August Pullman,he has only ten years old and suffers from a serious facial deformity. Throughout his life, Auggie (as he is called by friends and parents), suffered a lot of prejudice , everyone called him of aberration, monster, beast... Auggie never studied at a school, and never had many friends, but everything changes when his parents decide to put Auggie in school with normal peoples and that´s when the boy sees your routine life change completely. In the new environment he learns to deal with the people who keep their distance, but he also can get true and unexpected friendships. The book has a moral lesson for all of us,which is self-acceptance. However different we are and as much as sometimes we wish to be other people,have differents lives,but there is no one more special in the world than YOU. We have to believe that we are special and that we are incredible our way ! The book brings perspective of each character , narrating how the characters feel about Auggie and what were your reactions to know him. Of course there is the perspective of Auggie about himself and your acceptance of their physical condition. A book about compassion,kindness,acceptance and true friends.
